WEDDING COOKIES

1 C. Sugar

½ C. Margarine

3 Eggs

½ C. Milk

1 tsp. Vanilla

3 tsp. Baking Powder

5 to 5¼ C. Flour

Cream together sugar and margarine, add eggs. Alternate milk and vanilla with flour and baking powder. Knead dough. Pinch off about 1 teaspoon or so. Roll to pencil thickness about 5 inches long. Make a circle as a base and spiral dough up in tiers to look like a wedding cake, or you can pinch off as much as you like and roll in the palms of your hands to make a ball. You can shape it into whatever you like. Bake at 350~ until bottoms are light golden brown. Tops should barely have any golden color. Cool and frost. For Wedding cookies use white frosting and sprinkle with ground nuts... for Easter use different color frostings so they look like Easter eggs.

Makes about 14 dozen
